The Sociological group "Rating" on demand of Channel 5 will conduct a national exit-poll "UKRAINE - 2012" on the day of elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, October 28, 2012.
It is planned to conduct a survey on exit from 350 polling stations. The number of respondents will be over 20 000 respondents. The representative sample will be of the adult population of Ukraine (18 years old and more) by region and type of settlement. Polling stations for the survey are selected randomly basing on the principle of uniformity. Respondents on the stations are selected according to the pattern, which does not change throughout the day of elections.
More than 700 interviewers will be involved in the exit-poll "UKRAINE - 2012", in addition, about 100 people will be engaged in the organization of the survey, the control, data collection and processing.
The survey will be anonymous, respondents will fill in questionnaires (bulletins) independently and put them into specially made boxes. Subjects of research will be: the choice of parties ("Which party have you just voted for in elections to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine?") and several socio-demographic characteristics of voters.
The results of the exit poll will be promulgated on October 28, 2012 on Channel 5, soon after 20.00.
