• Results of the survey carried out by the Sociological Group Rating on September 13-17, 2020 among the residents of Kropyvnytskyi, revealed that the state of local things is assessed much better as compared to the overall situation in the country. Thus, only 21% believe the country is heading in the right direction, 66% share the opposing opinion. On the other hand, 45% of the city residents believe the things are heading in the right direction in the city, while 43% share the opposing opinion.
• 35% of respondents believe these days the country needs stability the most, 32% think the country needs gradual change, and 29% support rapid change in the state.
• 64% are satisfied with the performance of the mayor, 28% reveal the opposing opinion. 43% are satisfied with the activities of the city council, 38% are dissatisfied.
• 46% are satisfied with the work of public transport, 44% are dissatisfied. 38% are satisfied with educational institutions, the same number are dissatisfied, 24% could not assess. 26% are satisfied with the performance of the police, 56% are dissatisfied. Citizens are most dissatisfied with the work of the communal enterprises (housing and communal services, landscaping, lighting, etc.) and medical institutions. 70% of respondents have provided negative feedback about their activities, while nearly 20% are satisfied with their performance.
• 67% said the situation in the city had improved during the current mayor’s tenure, 24% said it had not changed, and only 6% have seen deterioration.
• 68% of the polled would not mind the re-election of the current mayor. 26% spoke about the need to choose a new personality.
• 78% expressed definite intention to participate in the local elections. Voter mobilization is higher among the older population.
• “Propozytsiya” party leads (the City Council elections) with a rating of 39.7% among those who intend to vote and have decided. Further: "Sluha Narodu" - 14.5%, "Opposition Platform – Za Zhyttia" – 10.5%, "Batkyvshchyna" – 9.3%, "European Solidarity" – 7.7%, “Radical Party” - 4.7%. The rating of other political forces is below 3%. About 12% have not decided on the matter.
• Serhiy Sukhomlyn is the leader among mayoral candidates: 64.0% of those who intend to vote and have decided are ready to support him. 6.9% are ready to support Vyktor Yevdokymov, 6.1% - Olena Rozenblat, 5.9% - Nataliya Leonchenko, and 4.2% - Lyudmila Zubko. The rating of others is lower than 3%. About 10% of respondents have not decided on their choice.
