According to results of the research conducted by the sociological group "Rating", the majority (56%) of respondents believe that the parliamentary elections on October 26 were rather free and fair, nevertheless 28% consider that the elections were not free and rather unfair, every sixth – undecided.
Nearly 60% expect changes to the best as a result of holding early elections to the Verkhovna Rada (three months before the elections, these were 46%). Half said that the new parliament will be more effective compared with the previous composition of the Verkhovna Rada.
If election of the Verkhovna Rada took place the following Sunday, 24,5% of respondents (including those who participate in them and decided on the choice) would vote for Narodnyi Front, 23,5% – for Block of P. Poroshenko, 12,7% – for SAMOPOMICH, 9% – for Oppositional Bloc, 7% – for Radical Party, 6,1% – for Batkivshchyna. Other parties would not overcome the electoral threshold: Svoboda – 4,4%, Communist Party – 3,3%, Sylna Ukrayina – 2,7%, Pravyi Sector – 2,1%, Civic Position – 1,7%.
Activity of the President P. Poroshenko approve 49%, don't approve – 42%. With activities of the Prime Minister A. Yatsenyuk are satisfied 52% of the respondents, 40% – are dissatisfied. With activity of the Head of the Verkhovna Rada O. Turchynov are satisfied 32% of the respondents, 55% are dissatisfied.
Among the possible formats of coalition the greatest support have "Block of P. Poroshenko – Narodnyi Front – SAMOPOMICH – Radical Party – Batkivshchyna" (19%) and "Block of P. Poroshenko – Narodnyi Front – SAMOPOMICH" (17%), the third – the format "Block of P. Poroshenko – Narodnyi Front" (12%). The formats "Block of P. Poroshenko – Narodnyi Front — SAMOPOMICH — Batkivshchyna" (9%) and "Block of P. Poroshenko – Oppositional Bloc" have the smallest support (5%).
Most of respondents (50%) see A.Yatsenyuk as the Prime minister of Ukraine after elections on October 26, much less – Y.Boyko (6%), A. Sadovyi (5%), V.Hroysman (4%), Y.Tymoshenko (4%), O.Lyashko (3%), S.Tihipko (1%).
O.Tuchynov (22%) is seen as the head of the newly elected Verkhovna Rada, less – V. Hroysman (9%) and V.Litvin (8%). In addition 5% see as the head of parliament O.Lyashko and Y.Tymoshenko, 4% – Y.Lutsenko, 3% – Y. Boyko, 2% – H.Hopko.
In these elections the number of young politicians who were first elected by deputies of the Verkhovna Rada according to lists of different parties. Among them most of all would like to see T. Chornovil (27%), H. Hopko (18%), E. Sobolev (17%) and M.Nayem (12%) in the new government.
